Big Sunday '07 in Los Angeles

Big Sunday (well Saturday too) is an upcoming event in Los Angeles, on April 28th and 29th. It is a city-wide event where thousands sign up to volunteer for various projects all over the city, from painting to beautifying schools and neighborhoods to handing out sandwiches to the homeless. It is an opportunity to help those in need, including those nonprofit organizations who work daily to improve the conditions of others. It is a great opportunity to get involved, even if just for a day, with your whole family. A lot of projects have tasks for all ages - from kids to adults.
